I want to start conversations about a few things:
- How organisations manage their encounters with the mass media and;
- How and why we find ourselves surrounded with unending and incessant health, medical and fitness information.
My interests involve the strategy and misfires when governments, firms and nonprofits face journalists and how and why health and medical science information gets made and presented to public audiences.
The opinions here are my own.
I blog about how public communications is shaped by, and in turn also shapes, matters that affect communities. Communications strategy is an interesting business, mainly because of the motivations for public relations activities and the intended (and often unintended) consequences.
